Tehran will persist in its support for Yemenis and other resistance factions, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on Tuesday, dismissing allegations that Iran supplies military assistance to the Sanaa government.

In remarks made during the 14th national conference of political officials from the Armed Forces, Araghchi pointed out that the Yemenis have exceeded expectations on the battlefield and executed remarkable actions in support of the Resistance Front, including the Palestinian Resistance and cause.

He further asserted that Iran has consistently backed and will continue to back the Resistance Front.

Although Yemenis have demonstrated their capability to stand independently without external aid, they continue to resist the enemy despite facing severe economic and military challenges, the top Iranian diplomat pointed out.

Araghchi emphasized that the Yemeni people have played a crucial role in defending the Palestinian cause since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, stating, "Even when they (Yemenis) are under the most severe bombardment by the American-Zionist coalition, Yemenis target the heart of the occupied territories with advanced missiles they have produced.”

He indicated that these missiles have altered the strategic calculations of the American-Zionist coalition.

'Israel' directs diplomats to seek designation of Ansar Allah: Reuters

Earlier on Tuesday, Reuters reported that "Israel" has directed its embassies in Europe to work toward having the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement classified as a terrorist organization.

Since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have consistently launched drones and missiles at "Israel" in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance.

They have vowed to persist with such operations against Israeli targets until the Israeli aggression on Gaza stops and the siege imposed on the Palestinian strip is lifted.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said that the Yemenis "pose a threat not only to Israel but also to the region and the entire world."

"The first and most basic thing to do is to designate them as a terrorist organization," he stated.

According to Saar, the US, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the UAE, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and "Israel" regard Ansar Allah as "terrorists".
