Yemen declares readiness to fight aggression on war's 8th anniversary
On the National Day of Steadfastness marking the eighth anniversary of the war on Yemen, vast crowds of Yemeni people took to the streets to announce readiness for any confrontation.
The closing statement of the National Day of Steadfastness marches, a day marking the eighth anniversary of the aggression against Yemen, warned Saudi Arabia and the UAE against continuing the war and siege on the Yemeni people.
The final statement confirmed that the aggression against the country is led by the United States, which provided arms to kill the Yemeni people and commit crimes against them.
The war on Yemen is unjustified and holds no legitimacy, the statement stressed, adding that the aim of this war was to occupy the land and the people and take away their independence.

The statement also stated that the role of the traitors and collaborators in this aggression was to infiltrate and divide the society, as well as to enable the coalition to occupy the country and besiege it, but the steadfastness of the Yemeni people shattered these plots.
Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, Member of Ansar Allah's Political Bureau, said during the national march that the US is leading the war on the country, and their sending of a peace envoy is nothing but a coverup for their crimes, adding that the Americans exerted a great deal of pressure to prevent aid from reaching the Yemeni people.

He also indicated that the Yemeni people have proven their steadfastness in the face of a brutal coalition and succeeded in maintaining and preserving their rights, stressing the need to keep confronting the aggression as a national priority.
Al-Houthi also hailed the awareness of the Yemeni people that overcame all the misleading attempts by the disinformation and propaganda campaign, confirming that "Yemenis will remain committed to their rights and rejection of the siege and occupation until they defeat the aggressors and liberate their whole land."
Yemen wants real peace and not a fake, nominal peace posed for the media, the Ansar Allah official said, adding that Sanaa set neither impossible demands nor conditions that contradict or violate international law.
He also called on the Saudi regime to repent for the crimes it committed against the Yemeni people and provide compensation for all the repercussions and destructions the aggression has caused.
