Yemen foils US-Israeli espionage plots
The Yemeni security services foil attempts by the Israeli occupation and the United States to spy on Yemen in light of its operations in support of the people in Gaza.
The Yemeni security services shut down espionage operations being carried out by the Israeli occupation and the United States on Yemeni soil, the Yemeni SABA news agency said Sunday, citing a security official familiar with the matter.
The source said that the security services would issue an official statement on Monday revealing the details of the operations that were foiled.
The Israeli and US espionage comes in light of Yemen's military operations in the Red Sea, which are aimed at bringing the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to a halt, which has thus far killed more than 34,000.
Initially, Yemen's military began supporting the Palestinian people and their Resistance by targeting Israeli occupation forces in long-range attacks, via barrages of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and one-way attack drones.
However, answering the directives of Sayyed al-Houthi and the calls of the people of Yemen who participated in weekly million-man marches, the YAF expanded its operations to target Israeli-affiliated ships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, a critical maritime route. This led to detrimental effects on Israeli maritime operations, nearly putting the Israeli-occupied port of Umm Al-Rashrash [Eilat] out of business.
Sayyed al-Houthi said earlier that the United States, the United Kingdom, and "Israel" are attempting to liquidate and end the Palestinian cause, adding that they have previously reckoned with the actions they are witnessing today in support of the Palestinian people.
