Yemen honored to fight for Gaza: Sayyed al-Houthi
The leader of Ansar Allah urged the people of Yemen to continue showcasing their support for Gaza through the staging of street demonstrations.
Ahead of the start of the holy month of Ramadan, Ansar Allah's leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said in a speech on Sunday that the people of Yemen remain steadfast in their commitment to ward off enemy forces in regional waters and defend Yemeni sovereignty against US-UK naval aggressions.
The leader further stressed that the resistance remains committed to putting an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza, noting that the Yemeni nation is honored to act in accordance with the feelings of "pain of the Islamic Ummah" and the plight inflicted on the people of Gaza.
"We will continue our operations and many of our fundamental and necessary activities must continue," the leader said during an address to clerics and officials of Yemen’s government in a ceremony held on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.
He also urged the Yemeni people to continue showing support for Palestinians by staging street demonstrations.

USA: State sponsor of Terrorism
Yemen, one of the most impoverished and persecuted nations in the world, which has also endured immeasurable levels of aggression on the part of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Western countries, has been actively engaged in targeting Israeli-linked ships crossing the Red Sea over the past five months.
Its purpose in doing so is to choke the Israeli economy in order to put an end to the Israeli-led genocide of the people of Gaza, which has so far resulted in more than 30,000 martyrs.
On January 17, the United States announced it officially designated the Ansar Allah Movement as a global terrorist group, citing attacks on naval vessels as a driver of the decision.
In response to the decision, the head of the movement's Negotiating Envoy and top official, Mohammad Abdul-Salam said that the classification "is ironically amusing, coming from the global state of terrorism."
The committee said that its decision is "an honorary badge," highlighting the group's "supportive stance toward the Palestinian people."
