Yemen's Joint Meeting Parties condemned Turkey for receiving Israeli occupation by President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday "at the expense of the oppressed Palestinian people and their just cause."
The JMP voiced their "absolute rejection of all meetings in Arab and Islamic nations with the leaders of the oppressive Israeli enemy no matter what pretext" in a statement issued Thursday.
They also underlined their unwavering stance toward the Palestinian cause due to its significance, condemning any abandonment of the Palestinian cause.
"It is condemned and rejected [to abandon the Palestinian cause] and it does not reflect the will of the free peoples who are eager to free their usurped lands and reclaim the rights of their people," the statement further added.
The Palestinian resistance factions also condemned the visit, declaring that "seeking to restore relations with the enemy under the pretext of the interest of this or that country is a betrayal of Al-Quds and Palestine."
Israeli occupation President had landed in the Turkish capital on Wednesday, marking the first visit of a high-ranking Israeli official since 2008.
