Yemen pledges allegiance to Palestinian cause on al-Quds Day
The people of Yemen underline that they will continue to support the Palestinian cause and people despite all the hardship imposed on them.
Yemen on al-Quds Day, commemorated on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan, underlined that they were committed to the Palestinian cause despite all the hardship and in light of the injustice they face.
"We renew our pledge of allegiance to God, his messenger, and our blessed leadership in our commitment to the support of the Palestinian people," a statement issued by the organizers of the million-man demonstrations taking place in Yemen to commemorate al-Quds Day read.
The Yemeni people stressed that they were prepared to "implement the directions of the wise leadership when it comes to any action they take to stand in the face of the enemies of humanity."
"Over the span of half a year, the Palestinian people have been facing the most malicious, dirtiest Zionist-American genocide carried out with criminal imperialistic intent in Gaza and Palestine as a whole," the statement added.
"We stress that the Palestinian cause is our and the Ummah's principal cause. The Ummah must protect sanctities and take action to liberate them," it said. "No regime in any Islamic country can explain their inaction or failure to play their respective role in the liberation of Palestine and in supporting the Palestinian people."
"The battle for the liberation of al-Quds is not solely the obligation of the Palestinian people; it is the responsibility of the Ummah as a whole," the statement read.
The Yemeni people went on to stress their support for and solidarity with the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause while urging the rulers and regimes of Islamic and Arab nations to shoulder their responsibilities toward the Palestinian people in the face of the brutality of the Israeli occupation and the United States.
US-UK coalition slated for defeat
To that end, the demonstrators underlined that the entirety of the Yemeni people were prepared to face the US-British aggression with resilience.
"We reiterate to the US-British enemy and their vanquished coalition that their reckless aggression on our people and land will only increase our determination and steadfastness in defense of the Palestinian people," the statement said.
"We announce that we will continue our general mobilization in preparation for participating with our Yemeni Armed Forces in any battle, whether on the land, sea, or air," the statement added.
The Yemeni people went on to demand that they be allowed to go to occupied Palestine to fight against the Israeli occupation in support of the Palestinian people. "We renew our demands that those who are between us and Palestine open safe land corridors [to occupied Palestine] so that we could cast the fury of God upon them with our own hands.
They also demanded all Arab and Islamic countries to criminalize Zionism and boycott all that has any links to Zionism. "We demand that the Zionist entity be comprehensively boycotted and that all forms of normalization with it be severed."
At the conclusion of the statement, the Yemeni people stressed that they condemned the brutal act of aggression waged by the Israeli occupation on Syria, wherein the Israeli regime carried out airstrikes on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
