Sanaa is continuously monitoring and observing developments in Gaza, affirmed Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houth, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, noting that "the Israeli enemy is evading full commitment to the agreement."

In a meeting with scholars and state leaders to mark the start of Ramadan, al-Houthi stressed that "the enemy’s refusal to withdraw from the Rafah corridor constitutes a very serious violation of the agreement and a betrayal of its commitments, encouraged by the United States." He added that "the enemy’s failure to withdraw from Rafah poses a grave threat to the Palestinian people, as well as to Egypt—its people, government, and army."

Sayyed Al-Houthi also revealed that Yemen was prepared to intervene militarily had Trump carried out his threat to restart the war on Gaza if Hamas did not release the Israeli captives.

"Yemen remains steadfast in its support for the Palestinian people and Resistance factions in confronting Israel’s attempts to evade the ceasefire agreement and its second phase," al-Houthi emphasized, warning that if the war is reignited in Gaza, "the entire Zionist entity, starting with occupied Yafa, will come under fire," amid the Yemeni support and military intervention.

The Lebanese front

Addressing the situation in Lebanon, he noted that the Israeli enemy has not fully withdrawn from southern Lebanon, which constitutes an occupation, a threat to the Lebanese people, and a violation of Lebanese sovereignty, further highlighting how "Israel" is resuming its aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria through airstrikes and military escalation.

He also reiterated that Yemen firmly stands with Hezbollah and the Lebanese people in the face of continued Israeli aggression and the occupation of Lebanese territory.

"We advise the Zionists and their allies to correct their misguided perception. The historic funeral processions for Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine demonstrate the Lebanese people’s unwavering commitment to the path of resistance and their support for the mujahideen," the Yemeni leader asserted.

On US-Israeli agendas in the region

Speaking on US support for the occupation, al-Houthi noted that "Israel is relying on American backing to continue its evasions, as both work together to entrench a reality of impunity against our Ummah, without any objection to Israeli crimes."

He affirmed that the United States and "Israel" seek to establish buffer zones, control strategic locations, and plunder the wealth of the region, adding that "the level of arrogance displayed by the Americans and Zionists has reached unprecedented heights."

Al-Houthi stressed that the only way to deter the Americans and Israelis is to take the right stance and assume responsibility in confronting them, emphasizing "If our nation takes the correct position, it will be able to deter both the U.S. and Israel."

"We act from the perspective of our great responsibilities as one united nation—we do not view our causes in a fragmented manner. Every threat and danger facing the Palestinian people is a threat to the entire Ummah," he concluded.
