Yemen: Civilian killed in landmine explosion in Al-Hudaydah
The Yemen Executive Center for Mine Action (YEMAC) announces the death of a civilian as a result of the explosion of a landmine left behind by the Saudi coalition countries.
"A civilian was martyred in Al-Durayhimi district, south of Al-Hudaydah, as a result of an explosion of a landmine left behind by the forces of aggression," the Yemen Executive Center for Mine Action (YEMAC) in the Sanaa government announced today, Thursday.
The center demanded the entry of the mine detectors whose entry is denied by the Saudi coalition countries.
In the same context, two Yemeni women sustained injuries from landmines left behind by the Saudi-led coalition in the Nihm district of Sanaa Governorate.
It is noteworthy that the victims of mines and cluster bombs left by the Saudi coalition from the onset of the war on Yemen in March 2015 to the beginning of the present year amounted to more than 25,000 civilians, most of which are women and children, according to the YEMAC.
