A US-made drone was downed by Yemen's air defenses
The Spokesperson for Yemen's Armed Forces Major General Yahya Saree announced on Friday that Yemen's air defenses downed a UAE-owned US-made MQ9 reconnaissance drone.
Saree tweeted that Yemen's air defenses downed the attack UAV this morning in Al Jawf Governorate, noting that the drone was targeted with a locally-made surface-to-air missile that has not yet been made public.
The targeting operation was carried out with a domestic surface-to-air missile, which has not been revealed yet.
