The Sixth Military Region of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) conducted a military exercise on Wednesday during the graduation ceremony of the "Martyr Ismail Haniyeh" class.

Haniyeh, the head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, was assassinated on July 31 by "Israel" in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Since the onset of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the YAF declared an entry ban to Israeli-occupied ports in Palestine in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance and launched operations against ships violating the decision.

The exercise on Wednesday included executing an attack on simulated Israeli targets and storming simulated settlements from multiple directions through specialized tactical operations.

The graduates carried out the maneuver using various types of weapons, including artillery, snipers, and infantry forces.

The graduation ceremony, which included members of the 310th Armored Brigade, was attended by the brigade's commander, Brigadier General Ali al-Sabari, several leaders of the Sixth Military Region, and the Governors of al-Jawf, Faisal Haidar, and Amran, Faisal Jaaman.

Two months ago, units from the YAF's Fourth Military Region conducted a complex military exercise involving several units, including drone forces, artillery units, snipers, anti-armor units, infantry forces, armored units, and engineering units.

The area of responsibility was divided into two sectors (attack and defense), focusing on command, control, and coordination between the various units.

The exercise included an attack on simulated Israeli and British camps, showcasing the high level of training and coordination among the attacking forces, the diverse combat tactics employed, and their flexibility and combat performance.

The Yemeni support for Gaza is not limited to the military aspect, as every Friday, Yemenis take part in million-man marches to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people.
