The 141st Infantry Brigade of the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted the "Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad" exercises in the sixth military district of Yemen, including the northern provinces of Saada, Amran, and al-Jawf earlier on Saturday

The drills are considered a strategically significant exercise and have highlighted a coordinated effort that involved the unmanned Air Force, anti-tank units, snipers, engineering teams, artillery divisions, armored forces, infantry units, military communications, and the Specific Tasks Unit.

The maneuver took place hours after Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Yemen, on Saturday morning, confirmed that the Sanaa Airport vicinity was targeted by shelling and either air raids or missile strikes targeting al-Dailami base near the airport, north of the capital.

All participating units successfully carried out their assigned tasks within the framework of the supported operations skillfully and with utmost competence. This reflected the level of planning, coordination, and integration between the units, allowing them to take control of a virtual Zionist enemy settlement and capture remaining enemy soldiers before detonating the settlement, according to statements by their Military Media unit.

The military drill also showcased aspects of the participating units' skills and capabilities acquired from field experiences and specialized military courses.

A statement from al-Baqaa Axis forces emphasized their "full commitment, religiously, ethically, and humanely, to stand alongside the Palestinian resistance and the axis of resistance and jihad in the holy battle to liberate all of Palestine from Zionist occupation."

It also underscored their "preparedness" to confront "the American and Zionist enemy" using "appropriate equipment and gear."

It is worth noting that earlier, on Friday, the US and UK targeted Yemen for the first time, striking the capital, Sanaa, as well as the governorates of Hodeidah, Saada, Dhamar, Taiz, and Hajjah.

The second day, the US renewed its aggression on Yemen targeting an airbase north of Sanaa.

The US Central Command (Centcom) confirmed on Saturday that US forces carried out a strike that targeted an alleged radar site used by the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen.

"This strike was conducted by the USS Carney (DDG 64) using Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles and was a follow-on action on a specific military target associated with strikes taken on Jan. 12 designed to degrade the Houthi’s ability to attack maritime vessels, including commercial vessels," Centcom said in a statement on X.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Yemen confirmed early Saturday that airstrikes targeted the vicinity of Sanaa airport and its vicinity north of the Yemeni capital.

There will be painful responses to aggression on Yemen: Al-Bukhaiti

Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, affirmed that the battle in Yemen is not against the American or British people but against the Zionist ruling gang in Washington and London, adding that the US-UK decision is not in favor of either country.

Speaking to Al Mayadeen, al-Bukhaiti addressed both the American and British sides, saying, "You need to reconsider your calculations and learn from past experiences," emphasizing that the United States and Britain "made a mistake in waging war on Yemen."

He also underlined that Yemen has set targets that depend on the US escalation and international stances and that there will be painful responses. Al-Bukhaiti noted that the Yemeni Armed Forces previously only targeted maritime navigation associated with the Zionist entity.

The Yemeni official mentioned that American and British ships no longer dare to cross the Red Sea, threatening retaliation for the actions of the two countries. Al-Bukhaiti further highlighted that the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against targets in "Israel" and the Red Sea inflicted significant losses for both the American and Israeli sides.

He also announced that the United States and Britain are now directly involved in the aggression, emphasizing that this was a moment Yemen had been patiently awaiting. Additionally, al-Bukhaiti pointed out that it would have been better for the United States and Britain to pressure the Israeli occupation entity to stop its crimes instead of expanding the scope of the conflict.

The member of the Ansar Allah political bureau indicated that Yemen has managed to establish new rules of engagement in the Red Sea, which will be firm and permanent, stressing that no one will be able to overturn them.

In the same context, al-Bukhaiti expressed gratitude to the Palestinian people who united the Yemeni people and the nation and refuted all false accusations against Yemen.

Elsewhere, al-Bukhaiti concluded by stating that the situation is now clear in the world, with Yemen seeking to stop the genocide while the US and Britain protecting its perpetrators.
