Yemeni Armed Forces down MQ-9 Reaper drone
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Yahya Saree announces that Sanaa downed an MQ-9 Reaper drone operated by the US over Yemeni airspace.
Yemeni Military Media published Friday footage of the process of Yemen's air defenses shooting down an MQ-9 Reaper drone while conducting a hostile mission in the airspace of the Marib governorate.
The video shows that the US aircraft was spotted in the airspace of Marib before a Yemeni-manufactured surface-to-air missile was launched in its direction.
The footage documents the moment the missile directly hits the US aircraft, leading its wreckage to fall to the ground.

The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF), Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced earlier in the day that Yemeni air defenses successfully shot down Thursday evening an American MQ-9 drone while it was conducting hostile activities in the airspace of Marib Governorate.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed on Friday that the drone was targeted with a locally-made surface-to-air missile, adding that footage of the shootdown will be released later.
According to Saree, this is the fourth aircraft that the Yemeni air defenses have shot down since the start of the operations in support of Gaza.
The spokesperson affirmed the Yemeni Armed Forces' vigilance and full readiness on all levels, vowing that all enemy attempts are doomed to fail.
