The air defenses of the Yemeni armed forces managed to shoot down a US-made spy drone in Marib Governorate, and will broadcast scenes of the plane's wreckage at a later time.
The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that air defenses managed to shoot down a US-made (Scan Eagle) armed spy plane while it was carrying out hostile actions, this morning, in the airspace of the Juba area in the Marib governorate.
Saree said that this drone "is the sixth of the same model that our air defenses were able to shoot down this year," adding that the scenes of the plane's wreckage will be broadcast later.

Yemeni military and political affairs expert Brigadier General Abdul Ghani al-Zubaidi told Al Mayadeen that Sanaa forces air defenses are improving in repelling the Saudi aggression on Marib.
"The Yemeni Forces and Popular Committees are approaching Marib, and most fighters from seven southern districts in Marib have joined the armed forces to combat the Saudi aggression," al-Zubaidi added.
