Yemeni armed forces repel Saudi-led forces encroachment
Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announces repelling the Saudi-led forces encroachment in two Yemeni governorates.
Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said on Thursday that “Yemeni armed forces repelled the encroachment of UAE mercenaries and ISIS towards the Ain district of Shabwa governorate as well as Harib district in Marib governorate, which lasted for several hours without achieving any progress despite the intense air cover.”
“The enemy gatherings were targeted by two ballistic missiles, the hit was accurate and left large numbers of dead and wounded. The ambulances were seen rushing to transport them after the targeting,” he added.
Saudi coalition intensifies attacks against civilians
Two Yemeni civilians, on the other hand, were martyred when Saudi coalition warplanes attacked a poultry farm in the Al-Jarrahi district, south of Al-Hudaydah.
Meanwhile, a Yemeni military source reported 72 violations by Saudi coalition forces on Al-Hudaydah fronts, divulging the creation of new combat fortifications in Hays and Al-Jabaliya.
The Yemeni source added that Saudi spy planes flew over these areas among other violations, most notably 14 breaches by artillery shelling with 65 shells and 39 various breaches.
Earlier, two Saudi-led coalition air raids hit the vicinity of a Yemeni public hospital south of the capital, Sanaa.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the raids damaged the hospital and area around the main public hospital, as hundreds of staff and patients fled in terror.
Our reporter added that four medical staff members were injured and two of them are in critical condition.
In the last 24 hours, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched 55 airstrikes on the governorates of Shabwa, Marib, Saada, Al-Hudaydah, and al-Jawf.
Cutting water off Yemenis
On Wednesday, the Yemeni Ministry of Water and Environment in Sanaa said that "135,000 people who benefit from the Tlummus reservoirs were directly affected by the cessation of water pumping," noting that "citizens were forced to buy water at high prices, due to the lack of oil derivatives."
The Yemeni Ministry of Water and Environment in Sanaa has also condemned the attack of the Saudi-led coalition warplanes that targeted the Tlummus field tanks in the city of Saada, which supplies the Governorate with potable water.
The ministry indicated that "the warplanes of the coalition of aggression targeted two water tanks, with a capacity of 280 and 300 units respectively," resulting in their destruction, thus affecting the nearby water network. Moreover, "five nearby water wells were also affected directly, which led to cutting water off the residents of Saada.”
It is worth mentioning that Brigadier General Yahya Saree said earlier that Yemeni armed forces caused “very large losses among UAE mercenaries & ISIS in the Shabwa governorate during past few days, as the death toll reached more than 515, including leaders.”
“Yemeni armed forces affirm their full readiness to defend the country and its people and to confront the great escalation of Emirati enemy until the victory of is achieved; the consequences of this Emirati escalation will be great and they must bear consequences of their escalation,” he concluded.
