The Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation denied the Saudi forces spokesperson's claims of using the Al-Hudaydah port to launch military operations.
Al-Hudaydah port is habitually visited by the United Nations. It complies with all international maritime conditions, and it is devoid of any military presence, it added.
The Corporation stressed that the repercussions of the threats of the countries of aggression to strike the port would be catastrophic for the Yemeni people.
It reiterated its call for the international community to take responsibility to alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemenis, deal with the economic crisis in a proper manner, and assure a complete lifting of the embargo.
The Yemeni armed forces announced Monday the seizure of an "Emirati military cargo ship with military equipment on board, which entered Yemeni waters without any permission and engaged in hostile acts."
"The Emirati ship targets the security and stability of the Yemeni people, and we will explain the full details in a press conference in the coming hours," Saree said.
Sanaa government Minister of Information Dhaif Allah Al-Shami said the seized Emirati ship was carrying armored and military transport vehicles.
According to Al-Shami, the [shifting] balance of power will change the course of the battle, and the detention of the Emirati ship is only a prelude to something greater.
