Yemeni missiles too advanced for US defenses to down, al-Houthi says
Yemeni leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi underlines that Sanaa will continue to support the Palestinian people through military action in the Red and Arab seas.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have developed the existing missiles in their arsenal to the point that they have become too advanced for the US forces to intercept, as they have failed to block them from reaching their ships, Yemeni Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddine al-Houthi said on Thursday during a televised speech.
The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to support the oppressed Palestinian people through the Red and Arabian Seas he said in light of the latest developments in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation, he added, carried out all forms of genocide, murder, and starvation against the Palestinian people in Gaza as the United States insists on participating in these crimes by providing arms to the Israeli regime while the majority of the world stands idle or even goes as far as supporting the Israeli occupation.
Sayyed al-Houthi touched on the role played by the United Nations Security Council, accusing the US of changing its role to serve its interests and those of only a handful of countries
He also accused Washington of undermining the humanitarian role of the United Nations as it sought to prevent it from championing and supporting the oppressed people through, for example, suspending the activities of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Gaza despite the agonizing levels of starvation in the blockaded, war-torn strip.
Further addressing the horrific humanitarian conditions in Gaza, Sayyed al-Houthi said, "Women's rights are no more for the West when the woman in question is Palestinian and the party infringing on its rights is the Israeli enemy."
"The size of the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza puts more responsibility on Arabs and Muslims to take serious action," he said. "While certain rich Arab countries waste billions of dollars on trivial matters and fueling strife, we see that they are not providing even a little food to the Palestinian people."
"Hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza are starving and appealing to the people of the Ummah to help with their hunger and suffering," he underlined.
Resistance undermining 'Israel'
Sayyed al-Houthi underlined that the Israeli occupation failed terribly in its goal to return its captives from Gaza 20 weeks into the war taking place on limited terrain, which he said could be added to the "unprecedented economic losses suffered by the enemy despite all the support it is offered by the United States."
"The Hezbollah front in Lebanon is huge and it is effective on the Israeli enemy and deals major losses to it," he added.
On the Yemeni front, meanwhile, the Ansar Allah leader revealed that there had been "183 operations carried out on targets in the occupied Palestinian territories," all of which are in support of the disaster-stricken Palestinian people.
Speaking of Yemen's operations in the Red and Arabian Seas, he said that over the past few days, "The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 13 operations, the most significant of which were sinking a British ship and downing a US drone."
"We are still obtaining accurate information about the ships in the Red Sea despite all the American deception bids and their capabilities," al-Houthi added.
Moreover, he revealed that the Yemeni Armed Forces have been working on developing their arsenal, saying: "The missiles available to the Yemeni armed forces are so advanced that the US cannot intercept them despite all their technological advancements."
"The US failed to intercept the missiles and they were unable to prevent them from hitting their ships," the Yemeni leader said, calling on other countries not to get involved with the US and the United Kingdom so as to maintain the safety of their ships.
Don't play with fire
On Tuesday, Yemen Supreme Political Council member Mohammad Ali al-Houthi warned the European Union against "playing with fire" following the kickstart of their naval operation in the Red Sea.
“To the Europeans: do not play with fire and learn a lesson from Britain. You need not support the American devil in protecting the Israeli regime so that it can exterminate the people of Gaza with no disturbance,” he said in a post on X.
"International navigation is safe, and your presence further increases the [Red] Sea's militarization, targets international navigation, and affects the food supply chains of your own countries," he added.
This comes after the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) attacked a hostile UK ship, the Rubymar, and sank it in the Gulf of Aden yesterday.
The EU formally launched a naval mission on Monday under the pretext of protecting Red Sea shipping from the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, following suit of a coalition spearheaded by the United States, which also included Britain, which was launched to protect Israeli ships and "Israel"-bound ships.
