Italy advances to EURO 2020 finals after edging Spain 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 tie in the semi-finals match that took place in the Wembley Stadium.

Italy was the first to score in the match after Federico Chiesa scored a goal in the 60th-minute before Spain's Alvaro Morata scored the tying goal in the 80th-minute.

After the two extra-time rounds did not change the game's outcome, Italy reached the EURO 2020 finals after edging past Spain in a penalty shootout that ended with 4-2.

This is the fourth time Italy advances to the finals, and it is after its second title since its last one in 1968.

The final will take place next Sunday in the Wembley Stadium, where Italy will play against the winner of the second semifinal match between Denmark or England, which is scheduled tonight, at 22:00 (Quds Time).
