The Copa América finals will not be typical. The two teams, the Neymar-led Brazilian host and the Messi-led Argentine guest are set to meet at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Argentina qualified for the final by beating Colombia 3-2 in the penalty shoot-out, after a 1-1 draw.
Brazil qualified Tuesday by defeating Peru 1-0.
Brazil won 2-0 against Argentina in the semi-finals of the 2019 version when Neymar was absent from the Seleção - who had already won his ninth title by then - due to injury.
As for Messi, he will seek to win his first major title with the Argentine national team, shining as the top scorer of the tournament, with four goals. Messi participated in the Copa América finals three times, in addition to the 2014 World Cup final.
