Barca Appoints Interim Coach After Sacking Koeman
FC Barcelona announced appointing Sergi Barjuan, current Barca B coach as temporary coach to replace sacked Ronald Koeman.
Spanish football giant FC Barcelona announced on Thursday that Sergi Barjuan, current Barca B coach, will be temporarily "taking provisional charge of the technical management of the senior squad."
This comes after a club statement released on Wednesday read: "FC Barcelona has dismissed Ronald Koeman as coach of the first team."

Barjuan's interim position will end as soon as the club hires a full-time head coach to replace Koeman.
Xavi Hernandez, Barcelona's former midfielder who is currently in charge of Qatari club Al Sadd, and River Plate coach, Marcel Gallardo, are reportedly among those under consideration to take over.
The club's website mentioned that president Joan Laporta will officially introduce Barjuan to the first team this afternoon before a training session.
Ronald Koeman has been sacked from coaching Barcelona, after a defeat by Rayo Vallecano that left the club ninth in La Liga.
The team has won only two of their last seven league games under Koeman, a run that included losing to Real Madrid in Sunday's Clasico at Camp Nou.
