Cristiano Ronaldo will sign for Al Nassr 'before the end of the year'
Ronaldo accepts Al Nassr's offer after Manchester United terminated his contract.
Cristiano Ronaldo will agree to a £175 million per year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr before the year is through, according to Spanish news outlet Marca.
As a result of the 37-year-old's salacious interview with Piers Morgan earlier this month, his contract with Manchester United was terminated.
Before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Ronaldo, who is presently in Dubai, was connected with the Saudi Arabian club but declined to comment because he was focused on the competition.
According to Marca, Al Nassr wants to sign Ronaldo before the end of the year and has offered the 37-year-old a whopping £175m-a-year deal to secure his services.
Ronaldo is expected to remain with the Saudi Arabian club through at least 2025, which may be extended. According to reports, Ronaldo and his family are awaiting confirmation of the arrangement, which also involves advertising agreements in Dubai.
His move to Al Nassr comes shortly after his contract with Premier League giants, Manchester United, was terminated. He left the club after an interview with Piers Morgan that saw him criticize the club, Erik ten Hag, and the Glazers.
