NFL Titans’ Henry will Undergo Surgery
NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry will undergo surgery after injuring his foot, with no timetable for his return.
Derrick Henry, the NFL's leading rusher, will undergo surgery on his right foot on Tuesday morning, and coach Mike Vrabel says the Tennessee Titans have no idea when he'll be back.
Following a 34-31 overtime triumph in Indianapolis, Henry had tests on Monday to determine the seriousness of his injuries.
Vrabel said he knows Henry will do everything he can to get back on the Titans' side. He said that doctors will set a timeframe for Henry's recuperation and possible return, but he won't necessarily follow it.
The Titans have nine games left to play this season, including a bye on December 2. Within their division, the incumbent AFC South champions have a three-game advantage and the tiebreaker.
Head coach Mike Vrabel says Titans unfortunately have to move on without NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry in the short term.
