Salah's Demands to Renew His Contract with Liverpool
Press reports reveal that Egyptian star Mohamad Salah listed his demands to renew his contract with Liverpool.
On Tuesday, press reports revealed that Egyptian Mohamed Salah stated his demands to renew his contract with Liverpool.
Salah's contract with the club expires in June 2023, and officials are seeking to extend it, fearing his departure after the end of the current season; i.e. a year before the contract ends.
Moreover, the British newspaper Mirror said that Salah demanded 500,000 pounds per week to extend the contract.
Another British newspaper, The Sun, confirmed, from a source close to the Liverpool administration, that these reports are not true and that Salah is asking for 380,000 pounds per week to sign a new contract with the "Reds".

The 29-year-old is also required to sign a contract until June 2025, when he becomes 34 years old.
It is expected that Liverpool will discuss Salah's demands, considering that the Dutch Virgil van Dijk, who is the team's highest-paid player, receives only 235,000 pounds per week, meaning that the Club has to break the budget ceiling to keep Salah.
According to reports, Salah believes that his marketing value is no less than the Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, the current Manchester City star, who earns 358,000 pounds per week.
It is reported that Salah scored 9 goals in 9 games for Liverpool this season
