Apple has acknowledged and addressed overheating problems reported by users of its latest iPhones, including the iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max, The Guardian reported.

Some users reported temperatures exceeding 43 degrees Celsius while using the device.

The company identified two key factors contributing to the issue: a software bug and the use of specific apps that overloaded the handsets.

Apple has committed to releasing an update to rectify the software bug within its iOS 17 operating system.

While Apple did not provide a specific timeline for the software update's release, they assured users that the overheating problem does not pose safety concerns or affect the device's long-term performance.

Apple also noted that some initial warmth during the first few days of use may occur due to increased background activity.

The iPhone 15 series, which was launched on September 22, ranges in price from £799 to £1,199 in the UK, with similar pricing in the US.
