Israeli Media: Iran-Based Hacker Group Exposed
For at least three years, the MalKamak group has gone unnoticed with its Operation GhostShell campaign, says Israeli.
The cyber company "Cyberzon" revealed an "advanced espionage infrastructure attributed to an Iranian group," according to Israeli media.
"The group worked to steal sensitive information and spy on various targets in Israel, the Middle East, the United States, and Europe," according to Israeli Channel 12.
The channel added that the cyber group, MalKamak, acted in a discreet and meticulous manner, attempting to penetrate strategic objectives, mainly among companies and organizations engaged in data communications, aerial technologies, and space exploration.
“The affected organizations and the relevant security officials were informed of the attack, but the actual damage caused has not yet become clear,” the source divulged.
