The cyber group RansonEXX admits to stealing the company's information, as per local Italian media.
The Italian automaker Ferrari was hacked, resulting in the leak of seven gigabytes of data, according to local media.
In further detail, the cyber group RansonEXX admitted to stealing the company's information, Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported.
Hackers obtained internal documents, technical sheets, repair instructions, and other documents, added the newspaper.
It also revealed that hackers could have used ransomware.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time Ferrari documents were compromise.
Previously, another cyber group gained access to the servers of engineering firm Speroni, which supplies parts for sports cars, and put Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati projects up for sale. The Ferrari infrastructure was not affected at the time, according to the newspaper.
