Japanese billionaire plays drums in space, returns to Earth
Maezawa and Hirano, the first private Japanese to visit space since 1990, have returned to Earth.
After 12 days on the International Space Station, a Japanese billionaire returns to Earth on Monday. Yusaku Maezawa filmed himself doing the most mundane tasks, such as brushing his teeth and going to the bathroom in space.
The owner of Japan's largest online retail store, Zozotown, and his assistant, Yozo Hirano, and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin parachuted onto Kazakhstan's steppe at the expected landing time, 3:13 GMT on Monday.
"The crew is feeling good," Russia's space agency Roscosmos said.

The crew spent 12 days in the orbiting laboratory, where daily life tasks were documented. Maezawa did so on his Youtube channel, as he exhibited drinking his afternoon tea, playing the drums, sleeping, brushing his teeth aboard the ISS. In one of his videos, living in space aboard the ISS was explained in detail.
Maezawa has plans to tag 8 people along with him in 2023, in a SpaceX-operated mission around the moon.

Returning to Earth, Maezawa and the rest of the crew will be supervised by doctors for 2-3 weeks in order to reacclimate to the planet. A press conference about the mission will also be held on Wednesday.
Maezawa and Hirano are the first private Japanese citizens to visit space since Toyohiro Akiyama, a journalist, traveled to the Mir station in 1990.
