Latest Twitter Files sequel unmasks FBI influence
FBI has had a strong hand in suppressing information regarding the contents of Hunter Biden's controversial laptop.
Author Michael Shellenberger revealed that the FBI cooperated with Twitter personnel, including former FBI agents, to build the groundwork for the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop narrative.
The seventh release of the so-called Twitter Files, coordinated with new Twitter chief Elon Musk, cites a number of emails between Twitter and the FBI, as well as internal communications, in an extension of the latest controversial scandal exposing Democrat censorship and corruption. The seventh extension of the Twitter Files was released by Michael Shellenberger on Monday.
The exposure focuses on a number of emails between Twitter and the FBI, as well as internal communications.
Release #7
"In Twitter Files #7, we present evidence pointing to an organized effort by representatives of the intelligence community (IC), aimed at senior executives at the news and social media companies, to discredit leaked information about Hunter Biden before and after it was published,” Shellenberger posted on Twitter.

The FBI & the Hunter Biden Laptop
How the FBI & intelligence community discredited factual information about Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings both after and *before* The New York Post revealed the contents of his laptop on October 14, 2020
Former FBI general counsel Jim Baker, who was employed by Twitter at the time, maintained that the information found on the Hunter Biden laptop was either falsified or compromised, as per Shellenberger.
However, it is “inconceivable” Baker believed the materials were faked or hacked due to available proof of the laptop’s authenticity, Shellenberger said.
The exposure also showed that Baker wasn't the only ex-FBI agent working for Twitter; according to Shellenberger, there were so many former agents employed by the social media platform that they each had their own personal communication channel.
The fact that the FBI paid Twitter at least $3,415,323 for the time of its employees may have further consecrated the FBI's influence over Twitter, Shellenberger added.
The FBI continued to put pressure on Twitter until at least August 2022 to accept emergency disclosure requests, a warrantless search, Shellenberger said.
What are they?
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, is the mastermind behind the so-called Twitter Files. He has stated that he wants to demonstrate "what really happened" about behind-the-scenes content moderation choices at the social media business before he acquired it in October.
Three journalists, Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, and Michael Shellenberger, have been delving into internal documents and conversations to highlight the company's decision-making process surrounding some high-profile actions, such as banning former President Donald Trump in January 2020. The Twitter Files have been released in bits and pieces throughout December.
