Musk agrees to step down as Twitter CEO if he finds 'fool' to replace
This exhibits an outcome of Musk's tweet of a poll on December 19 asking users to vote on his decision, adding that he "will abide by the results".
In another one of his "pop-up" surprises, Twitter CEO Elon Musk admitted on Tuesday his willingness to step down as CEO of the social media platform - as soon as he finds the candidate willing to take the position.
Musk tweeted: “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job!”
I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.

The results demonstrated 57.5% saying yes as opposed to 42.5% who voted against his stepping down. Before posting the poll, Musk tweeted that, from now on, "there will be a vote for major policy changes" on the social media platform.
Musk made adjustments to the company day-to-day operations, including the termination of Twitter executives responsible for the privacy, cybersecurity, and censorship of the platform and two-thirds of Twitter employees.
As part of the most recent yet confusing changes, several high-profile journalists with accounts who cover the platform's updates and those of Musk, were suspended last week for doxxing - publishing private information to the public such as personal info and location.
During a Twitter Space audio discussion, Musk clarified the reason behind the suspension campaign: “You doxx, you get suspended. End of story. That's it,”
However, he announced on December 17 that he would reinstate the Twitter accounts of several journalists who had been suspended after he accused them of putting his family in danger.
