BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

Social media giant Twitter has had a strong hand in suppressing information regarding the contents of Hunter Biden's controversial laptop. Journalist Matt Taibbi took to a Twitter thread, naming it 'The Twitter Files.' The information was disclosed in coordination with Elon Musk.

Hunter Biden, the son of US president Joe Biden, is notorious for his involvement in numerous scandals, including substance abuse, commercial sex, infidelity, tax fraud, and, most likely, high-level corruption. Nonetheless, he was always able to elude capture. However, the "gun incident" could change that.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 2, 2022

"Twitter took extraordinary steps to suppress the story, removing links and posting warnings that it may be ‘unsafe.’ They even blocked its transmission via direct message, a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography," Taibbi said.

Joe Biden's campaign team and then-US President Donald Trump sent requests to Twitter to comb through the content on the platform, according to Taibbi. Twitter showed itself to have closer proximity to the Democrats than the Republicans.

Before the 2020 US presidential election, US media began reporting on the laptop's contents, which included sensitive information about Biden's foreign business dealings and images exposing drug abuse and sexual activity.

In response, former White House spokesperson Kaleigh McEnany was locked out of the Twitter account for sharing the story, suppressing the propagation of the narrative for the reason that it may have been hacked content, which violates Twitter guidelines.

Internal documents shared by Taibbi expose Twitter employees discussing what happened regarding the laptop, in addition to how the company is applying the hacked materials policy on users.

Citing a number of sources, Taibbi said that the issue with "hacked materials" as a ruling is that it usually requires an official law enforcement finding - such a finding does not normally appear in 24 hours.

E-mails recovered from Hunter's abandoned laptop show that he played a major role in the acquisition of millions of dollars in funding for Metabiota, a Department of Defense contractor specializing in research on pandemic-causing diseases that could be used as bioweapons.

It seems that more of the "Twitter Files" is in store, as Musk told people to tune in for more tomorrow.

Secret service does possess Hunter Biden gun docs

The Secret Service acknowledged the existence of documents related to Hunter Biden's illegal gun ownership, despite previously denying possession of the files.

According to media reports, Secret Service agents approached the owner of the firearms shop where Hunter Biden had illegally purchased a gun and demanded the paperwork related to the transaction.

The gun shop owner refused to comply because he suspected the Secret Service officers were trying to conceal Hunter's ownership of the firearm. This incident did not go unnoticed.

Judicial Watch, a conservative activist group, sued the government agency for all documents related to Hunter Biden's gun ownership. The government watchdog group also pointed out the unusual fact that the Secret Service changed its stance on the case several times.

According to Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, "The Secret Service's changing story on records raises additional questions about its role in the Hunter Biden gun incident."
