Zuckerberg published a Facebook post announcing that his company's research team had developed a feature that allows people to understand the world through touch.
He announced the development of a "high-precision touch sensor" in cooperation with the American Carnegie Mellon University to create a "thin robot skin."
According to Zuckerberg, this innovation brings humanity one step closer to virtual reality objects and physical interactions in Metaverse.
Zuckerberg's announcement comes a few days after he decided to change the name of his company Facebook to Meta, a word of Greek origin that means "after".
