'End all weapons to Israel now': US military veterans demand action

An initiative by US military veterans demands a ceasefire in Gaza and asks the US to halt all weapons to "Israel". The veterans posted a video on TikTok on an account called "vet4ceasefire." In the video, they were wearing shirts that read "Veterans demand ceasefire," "Veterans against genocide," and "Veterans for peace." Sending a unified message, the veterans said, "For the past 10 months, we have witnessed the bombing of civilians indiscriminately inside of Gaza. We have witnessed daily children being murdered at the hands of Israeli forces." "As veterans, we understand what self-defense is. Massacring civilians is not self-defense," they stressed. The veterans highlighted that "Israel has continued to violate international laws and the Geneva Convention." Addressing the US leaders' responsibilities, they added, "Our leaders of this country can and must stop the genocide of the Palestinians."
