'If history once spoke of Leningrad, today the world speaks of Gaza'

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, liberated Palestinian prisoner Wael al-Jaghoub, who spent 24 years in Israeli occupation prisons, conveyed the message of all Palestinian prisoners and detainees: the need for immediate national unity and leadership to confront the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinians. Al-Jaghoub described the dire conditions faced by prisoners and detainees, revealing systematic abuse, starvation, and psychological warfare imposed by the Israeli authorities, especially since October 7, 2023. He urged the Palestinian leadership to rise to the sacrifices made by Gaza's resilient people and Resistance, likening their legendary steadfastness to historical moments of defiance such as Leningrad.
