'Israel' strikes Mar Elias in Lebanon's capital, Beirut: No warning, just raging fires

On Sunday night, Israeli occupation forces targeted Beirut’s Mar Elias neighborhood for the first time since October 8, 2023. Known as a bustling commercial hub, the area was struck without prior warning, and caused a massive fire in a building housing an electronics store and damaging nearby vehicles. Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health reported two martyrs and 13 injuries at least.
