'Israel' uproots ancient southern Lebanon olive trees amid ceasefire

Video footage shows the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) uprooting ancient olive trees from southern Lebanon and moving them into the occupied territories during the 60-day ceasefire. This act not only constitute another breach of Lebanon's sovereignty but is also akin to an attack on its culture and heritage. Olive trees and olive groves, which are a huge part of both Lebanese and Palestinian cultures, have been under attack from Israeli settlers and soldiers for years in Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
