In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Ali Larijani, Senior Advisor to Iran's Leader, dismissed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ambitions as unattainable fantasies. Drawing on an Iranian proverb, Larijani likened Netanyahu to someone "trying to get married with someone else’s money," highlighting his full dependence on US support. “Years ago, during the 2006 war, Condoleezza Rice tried to reshape the Middle East. Where is she now? What did she achieve?” Larijani asked, comparing Rice’s failed ambitions to Netanyahu’s current aspirations.
