'Lie and Fiction': ANSWER Director slams antisemitic narrative over Gaza protests

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Brian Becker, director of the ANSWER Coalition, called out the Trump administration's efforts to frame campus protests against "Israel's" genocide in Gaza as antisemitic, branding the narrative as a “lie” and “fiction". Becker argued that freezing funds to universities and creating fear among international students are tactics designed to suppress dissent. He emphasized that many of the students protesting the genocide are Jewish Americans, making up the largest demographic in the pro-Palestine solidarity protest movement.
