During the match between Celtic and Bayern Munich, fans of the Scottish soccer team unveiled a massive banner during Wednesday night's game, urging UEFA and FIFA to "Show 'Israel' the Red Card," according to images from the game. The banner notably placed "Israel" in quotation marks, with the lettering stylized to appear as though it is dripping with blood. Celtic fans also handed out leaflets advocating for "Israel" to be barred from participating in sporting events, according to Israeli media. Notably, this isn't the first time that Celtic fans have shown solidarity with Palestine and condemned "Israel's' war crimes against Palestinians, as they were particularly active and vocal during the war on Gaza.
