Indigenous People Commemorate the Last Day of the Aztec Empire

Indigenous people from different parts of Mexico gathered on Thursday in the Zócalo, Mexico City’s main square, to commemorate 500 years of Aztec resistance to the Spanish “Conquista” of the Aztec Empire, on the eve of the official ceremonies.
