Al Mayadeen documents the destruction inflicted on IRIB by Israeli strikes

Al Mayadeen’s camera toured the heavily damaged Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building in Tehran following an Israeli strike on Monday, June 16. The aggression killed three IRIB employees, including senior news editor Nima Rajabpour and administrative staff member Masoumeh Azimi, while injuring several others. The deliberate Israeli strike came as anchor Sahar Emami was live on air. Yet, shortly after, she defiantly returned to the broadcast, declaring that the voice of truth would not be silenced. The targeted IRIB facility, a prominent media hub, triggered immediate outrage from international watchdogs and journalist unions.
