A statement by ten independent UN experts emphasized, “We assert that Israel’s deliberate and targeted starvation campaign against the Palestinian people constitutes a form of genocidal violence and has led to famine across Gaza. We urge the international community to prioritize the delivery of humanitarian aid by any means necessary, lift Israel’s blockade, and establish a ceasefire."
