Amid Gaza's famine, Palestinians forced to eat mulberry leaves

The Israeli-imposed starvation in the Gaza Strip has forced the people of Gaza to resort to food unfit for human consumption. Since the Israeli war on Gaza, at least 33 Palestinian children have died from famine, according to health authorities in Gaza. A statement by ten independent UN experts emphasized, “We assert that Israel’s deliberate and targeted starvation campaign against the Palestinian people constitutes a form of genocidal violence and has led to famine across Gaza. We urge the international community to prioritize the delivery of humanitarian aid by any means necessary, lift Israel’s blockade, and establish a ceasefire."
