Backlash over Netanyahu's map
Netanyahu's provocative map ignites global outrage, blatantly pushing a vision of "Greater Israel" that erases the entire Palestinian existence. This is not the first time the Israeli Prime Minister's use of a map has sparked backlash. In September 2023, speaking before the UN General Assembly, Netanyahu presented a map of the "new Middle East," which was intended to demonstrate how a normalization deal with Saudi Arabia would expand "Israel's" relations in the region. The map in question included the West Bank, Gaza, and the eastern part of occupied al-Quds as part of "Greater Israel".
