In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, British MP Jeremy Corbyn criticized the UK government's suspension of 30 arms licenses to "Israel," calling it a largely symbolic gesture made under mounting pressure from pro-Palestine protests and parliamentary opinion. Corbyn also attributed the Labour Party’s loss of votes in the recent general election, including the significant drop in the Prime Minister’s constituency, to the government’s failure to support a ceasefire in Gaza. He further highlighted concerns about British complicity in "Israel's" war on Gaza, citing reports of weapons transiting through the British RAF base in Cyprus to "Israel" and the collection of surveillance data over Gaza, which is believed to be shared with Israeli occupation forces.
