Detained journalist Rula Hassanein returns to her child after being released

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Palestinian journalist, Rula Hassanein, shares a heart-wrenching ordeal that ended after 10 months of separation from her infant daughter, Iliyaa, who was only nine months old when Hassanein was detained by Israeli authorities. She recalls how she used to clutch a pillow, imagining it was her daughter, to soothe her burning heart. Despite three court orders for her release, Israeli military authorities denied her freedom, using accusations of incitement as a pretext.
