Extensive Israeli airstrikes on South Lebanon
Shortly after their terrorist attacks on Lebanon, targeting pagers and walkie-talkies in Beirut's Southern Suburb, South Lebanon, and Bekaa, Israeli occupation forces carried out their most intense strikes on South Lebanon late Thursday night. According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), "Israel" conducted at least 52 airstrikes. While the Israeli occupation claimed that its warplanes struck around 100 launchers and additional infrastructure sites, “consisting of approximately 1000 barrels," as per Reuters, Hezbollah Resistance fighters executed a total of 17 operations by Thursday night, shelling and striking multiple Israeli military sites and settlements, in support of Gaza and in response to the Israeli aggression on southern Lebanese towns. Two of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon's operations resulted in casualties among Israeli occupation troops, and a third resulted in an electricity and communications outage in the Metulla settlement, as per Israeli media.
