Figures in History: Vladimir Lenin

Today marks the #99th anniversary of Vladimir Lenin's death, the Soviet leader and USSR founder who is still regarded as an icon all over the world. He died suddenly on Jan. 21, 1924, a few months before his 54th birthday. It is believed that he died due to a massive stroke.
