FMs pay tribute to late Iranian President and FM at BRICS meeting

The first BRICS meeting commenced today in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, with the participation of the foreign ministers of several countries and friends of BRICS, including China and Iran. The meeting will address major issues in international relations, strategies for enhancing global governance, and conflict resolution in multilateral contexts, while also focusing on enhancing the influence of developing countries, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said. The BRICS foreign ministers will also outline the roadmap for developing strategic partnerships among the member states and will prepare the necessary groundwork for the 16th BRICS Summit, which will be held in Kazan.
