Former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Scott Ritter, Former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, discussed the real intention behind "Israel's" invasion of Rafah. Ritter said that the operation is a strategic objective, whereby an Israeli invasion of Rafah is "the initial action of what would be a larger series of military operations that are designed to get the surviving population of Gaza removed from Gaza and move to a place outside of Gaza." He also disclosed that the US will try to "shape the political environment " by portraying "the Israeli actions as limited," despite "Israel's" clear intention that invading Rafah will not be a limited operation.
