French MP Sebastien Delogu was suspended for raising Palestine's flag in parliament

Leftist French MP Sebastien Delogu from La France Insoumise Party was suspended for 15 days for raising Palestine's flag in the National Assembly. According to Reuters, Delogu "waved the Palestinian flag in the National Assembly ... because as I speak, France sells weapons, sells parts to supply the Israeli army," adding, "There is a genocide going on there." In a similar vein, Delogu quoted Frantz Fanon in a tweet on X:“ We are nothing on this earth if we do not first and foremost serve a cause, the cause of the people, the cause of freedom and justice.”
