Gaza flotilla activist: 'we will not turn our backs to Palestinians' despite threats

Yasemin Acar, a German activist currently on board the Madleen, spoke to Al Mayadeen about their mission to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians, stating they are "sailing for Palestinian self-determination, freedom, and justice" despite Israeli attempts to intimidate them. Referencing the 2010 flotilla attack that killed 10 activists and recent drone strikes in Malta, Acar said, "Anything is possible with Israel" due to the "full impunity" it enjoys. She criticized countries for inaction, stating they are undertaking this mission "because our governments are not doing it."
