Harris vows to defend 'Israel' at DNC speech, despite 40K+ killed Palestinians

As Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris was delivering her nomination acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, she pledged to "always stand up for Israel's right to defend itself," adding that she "will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself." This comes at a time when "Israel", under the guise of "self-defense", is committing massacres on a daily basis in Gaza. Harris concluded her speech by lauding "what we stand for; freedom, opportunity, compassion, dignity, fairness, and endless possibilities." She continued, "We are the heirs to the greatest democracy in the history of the world." However, her words rang hollow, as the ideals of "fairness," "compassion," and "democracy" are in stark contrast with the reality of supporting an oppressive apartheid regime that has occupied Palestine for decades, inflicting nothing but misery on the indigenous population.
